Cabbage Variety: Golden Acre

This is an excellent variety with medium heads on compact plants. Shredded in salads, added to stir-fries or mixed into soups or fermented in sauerkraut, cabbages have a wide range of uses.  For balcony gardens plant in a pot of 45cm in depth and diameter or larger.

Growing Tips:

They like a sunny spot with moist soil that has had plenty of well-rotted organic matter added. Keep cabbage plants well watered and ensure that soil never dries out. Don't let it get waterlogged either. To prevent any insects from stripping any foliage, put netting or fine mesh around it.
