Peanuts Variety: Sellie Plus

Peanuts can be roasted, boiled or eaten raw. They are highly nutritious and delicious, very high in protein, and full of other nutrients. They are an excellent snack at any time of the day.

Growing Tips:

The peanut plant flowers above the ground and the peanut develops below ground, not from the roots of the plants but from the pegs/stems, that extend into the ground. These grow from the flowers and develop the nut that way. They are best grown on small hills, so that the pegs/stems from which the nuts develop can grow down into the loose soil .Once the leaves start to yellow you can check a plant to see if they are ready to harvest, before harvesting the entire crop.
