Baby Marrow Variety: Genovese

This marrow is a light green, smooth skin with great flavour. The flavour is perfect for stuffing with cheese and herbs and roasting in the oven. For balcony in a plant pot 60cm in depth & diameter, or larger.

Growing Tips:

This is a bush variety and doesn't trail. Sow seeds in well prepared beds with good organic compost. If you  are concerned about pollination and want to get maximum yield, remove the petals from the male flower and gently insert the core into a female flower. Female flowers are identified by having an immature fruit as a stem, underneath the flower. Use a different male flower to pollinate each female flower.
