Feeding
Feed parsley every 4–6 weeks with a balanced liquid fertiliser to encourage healthy, leafy growth.
Pest Control and Maintenance
Watch for common pests like aphids and caterpillars. Snip outer leaves regularly to keep the plant bushy and delay flowering (bolting).
Water
Terracotta pots dry out quickly, so water when the top layer of soil feels dry. Water thoroughly and allow any excess to drain into the saucer—be sure to empty standing water after a few minutes to prevent root rot.
Light & Placement
Place your parsley in a sunny spot with at least 4–6 hours of direct light daily. Indoors on a windowsill or outside on a stoep, it will thrive with consistent sunlight and good airflow.
