Petals with Purpose: Spring Festival 2026

80 Years of Hadeco | Spring Flower Festival in Magaliesberg | 26–27 September 2026

Stop scrolling. Step outside and experience one of South Africa’s most beautiful spring flower festivals.

This September, the Magaliesberg comes alive with colour as Hadeco celebrates 80 years of growing flower bulbs in South Africa. Wander through sweeping fields of ranunculus and spring blooms, breathe in fresh country air, and reconnect with nature at the start of the season.

If you’re searching for things to do in Pretoria or Johannesburg in spring, a flower festival near Gauteng, or a spring day trip from the city, this is your moment to slow down.

Real flowers. Real experiences. Real connection. All for a real cause.

About the Spring Flower Festival

Hadeco presents Petals with Purpose: Spring Festival on 26–27 September 2026 at its Magaliesberg farm in Waterval Wes, next to Hoërskool Bekker.

This immersive flower farm experience in South Africa invites visitors to walk through curated bloom fields, picnic and celebrate the start of spring in nature.

As part of 80 years of Hadeco, the festival also supports the local Magaliesberg community, with R30 from every ticket donated to the following organisations: Hopelands Village, The Gateway School, Emergency Control SA and Four Paws.

Tickets are limited to protect the experience and ensure open, peaceful access to the flower fields.
