Cucumber Variety: Marketmore

Home grown cucumbers taste so much better that store bought ones. They are sweet and crunchy! Marketmore is a beautiful, dark green medium sized cucumber. For balcony gardens, plant in a pot 55cm depth & diameter and produce a simple trellis for the cucumber to grow on.

Growing Tips:

Cucumbers are very fast growing and super easy to grow from seed. Plant the seeds directly in organic compost rich soil, for then to grow abundantly. Cucumbers are vine crops, so it's best to grow them on a trellis to keep them off the ground and protect them from pests.

Cucumber, flowers, leaves, stems.

Planting Season: Spring/Summer (Full Sun)

Harvest: 8 – 10 weeks

Distance between plants: 50 – 75cm

Distance between rows: 75 – 90cm

Seed depth in the ground: 1.5cm
For balcony gardens plant in a pot 55cm in depth & diameter and provide a simple trellis for the cucumber to grow on.
