Kale Variety: Chou Moellier

A very productive kale variety, excellent for juicing, kale chips and eating raw in salads, or cook up like spinach. The plant can grow 90cm tall. Keep harvesting your leaves to encourage production. For balcony gardens, plant in a pot 45cm in depth & diameter or larger.

Growing Tips:

Kale prefers a well-drained soil that is rich with lots of added organic compost. Growing kale through the summer months will give you a smaller plant as it prefers cooler weather. Harvest leaves from the lower part of the plant as it grows.

Leaves, flowers, seeds and stem.

Planting Season: Early Spring/Autumn/Winter (Full Sun)

Harvest: Baby leaves from 6 weeks

Distance between plants: 40 – 50cm

Distance between rows: 55 – 60cm

Seed depth in the ground: 1cm
For balcony gardens plant in a pot 45cm in depth & diameter, or larger.
