Lettuce Mixed Variety: Little Gem

Lettuce is one of the easiest vegetables to grow from seed. A miniature, quick-maturing romaine (cos) lettuce variety. The heads are compact so you can plant Little Gem seeds closer together for a larger yield than other varieties. For balcony gardens, grow 2 plants in a pot, 20 cm in depth & diameter.

Growing Tips:

Sow lettuce seeds in well composted organic soil and cover lightly. Once the seeds have germinated, thin the seedlings out to 12 between plants and water regularly. When your Little Gem lettuce is ready to harvest, harvest the entire plant.
