Feeding
Feed every 3–4 weeks with a nitrogen-rich liquid fertiliser to promote tender, leafy growth.
Pest Control and Maintenance
Keep an eye out for flea beetles and aphids. Harvest leaves regularly to encourage new growth and prevent the plant from bolting too quickly.
Water
Terracotta pots dry out fast, so water when the top layer of soil feels dry. Water thoroughly and let any excess drain into the saucer—be sure to empty standing water shortly after watering to avoid soggy roots.
Light & Placement
Place in a bright spot with full to partial sun—at least 4–6 hours of light per day. Outdoors or on a sunny windowsill, rocket thrives best in cooler weather, so offer a bit of afternoon shade in the peak of summer.
