Petals with Purpose: Spring Festival

Visitors stopped scrolling and stepped outside as spring met them in person. They wandered under open skies, surrounded by thousands of blooms, breathing in the scent of petals warmed by the sun. This wasn’t just a festival; it became a celebration of everything that makes spring come alive—real flowers, real experiences, real connection, all for a real cause.

Hadeco hosted the Petals with Purpose: Spring Festival on 20–21 September 2025 in the heart of Magaliesberg.

The festival was more than a floral showcase—it was a community celebration. R30 from every ticket sale was donated to three outstanding organisations:
• Hopelands – offers a holistic residential home for orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children. ( www.hopelands.org)
• Abraham Kriel – provides a safe haven, residential care and skills development for traumatised children and youth in need. ( www.abrahamkriel.org)
• Emergency Control South Africa – protects lives, safety and property through disaster management, fire suppression, prevention and response. ( www.emergencycontrol.co.za)

Children aged 12 and under enjoyed free entry when accompanied by an adult, making it a family-friendly experience for all.

🌼 Festival Fast Facts 🌼
• The main field came alive with eight striking colours of Ranunculus as well as Sparaxis.
• The field near the parking area dazzled with Ranunculus, Ixia, Ipheion (spring star flower), Tritonia and Babiana.

The weekend brimmed with natural beauty, local flavour and meaningful connection.
