Anemone bulbs

I am very happy with my delivery of my spring bulbs just not sure when the best time is to plant them. I live in Randburg Johannesburg

Thank you

Thank you for your review Colleen. As soon as the weather cools, and the soil is colder, you can plant your spring bulbs out. Alternatively, if you wish to plant them now, keep the soil cool by mulching with compost. If you do hold out on planting, just make sure the bulbs are stored in a dry place such as a cupboard or garage until you plant. You should keep them off the floor by putting them in a cardboard box that has ventilation. Mulching with compost is highly beneficial as it helps retain moisture and keeps the soil cool as the roots of the bulb develop.
