Sweet Basil Variety: Italiano Classico

Basil is one of the most delicious culinary herbs. Used fresh or added at the end of cooking a dish to maintain its flavor. For balcony gardens plant in a pot of 20cm in depth and diameter or larger.

Growing Tips:

Choose a sunny spot and sow your seeds in well composted organic soil with good drainage. Water frequently but do not over water as basil does not like very wet soil. Once the plant starts to flower, remove them to delay the plant going to seed and continue to harvest.

Basil leaves, flowers and seeds.

Planting Season: Spring/Summer (full Sun)

Harvest: 7 weeks

Distance between plants: 20 – 25cm

Distance between rows: 20 – 30cm

Seed depth in the ground: 0.5cm
