Position: Plant in relatively clean water. A depth of 10-60cm is suitable and you can throw them in during autumn. Most rhizomes sink, but they can be weighted down with a stone. Another option is to plant in a container filled with well-composted soil, just ensure you cover the top 2cm of the pot with coarse sand or fine pebbles to prevent soil from escaping.
